I really like this product, only my PC is crashing all the time after installing, the software is not signed by Microsoft, what to do now? please advice, tnx.

I am interested in this machine but I need to know if it will work on NTSC VHS tapes as well as PAL tapes.
Firebox says: Unfortunately the USB VHS Converter will not yet convert NTSC tapes. However, an updated model which does convert NTSC tapes is available in the States and we hope to bring it to the UK Firebox site soon!

Just a quick question, what speed does it convert to PC at? is there a 'high speed' dubbing mode?
Firebox says: It converts at your normal Playing speed. Unfortunately the model does not currently have a high speed mode, but watch out for future Models at Firebox.com!

I know this doesn't work on Macs but what kind of files does this convert it to? I can download it onto my PC and would like to edit the files to put them onto pretty DVDs on my Mac. Is this possible?
Firebox says: Good question, the files are converted onto MPEG files which you can then transfer to disc and hey presto onto your Mac.

I have not bought one myself (yet) but I have a question to ask. . Do you know it it will convert VHS 45's (those little tapes for camcorders) ?
Firebox says: You can plug in your old camcorder (if you still have it) into the unit itself to convert them using the extra port.
